Advocacy Day on the Parliament Hill
Honoured to participate in Advocacy Day on Parliament Hill, over 50 Ukrainian Canadian delegates united to advocate for military support and engage directly with Members of Parliament about the urgent needs of Ukraine.
Honoured to participate in Advocacy Day on Parliament Hill, organized by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, I joined over 50 Ukrainian Canadian delegates in Ottawa as we united to ensure Ukraine’s needs remain at the forefront of Canada’s foreign policy. With nearly 1,000 days since Russia’s full-scale genocidal war against Ukraine, we met with Members of Parliament and Senators, sharing stories of Ukrainian resilience, calling for further military aid, and urging continued assistance to help Ukraine survive the coming winter—and ultimately win this war.
As a proud Ukrainian Canadian, I see advocating for Ukraine as one of the greatest privileges of my life. Our voices are a powerful force in highlighting the extraordinary bravery of Ukraine’s defenders and the urgent support they require. Canada’s steadfast support has already made an impact, and our community deeply appreciates each office that listened to our concerns. Standing together, we aim for Ukraine’s victory and freedom.
In addition, we had the distinct honor of attending a reception at the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada, where Ukraine’s Ambassador, Yuliya Kovaliv, shared an impassioned update on what Ukraine needs from allies in this critical moment.
